Spelling, punctuation and grammar have become the driving force in writing recently and as teachers at Travis, we have firm reservations for teaching grammar that links meaningfully to the way our children write.
We use Read Write Inc. Spelling as our chosen spelling scheme but supplement this with spelling zappers and daily spelling practices.
